This is central Ohio. Ohio became part of America in 1803. This is the soy that grows behind the house in which I used to live on Ohio route 661. They grow corn there too every other year but they rotate it to keep the soil healthy I am told. This is north of Granville, Ohio where I spent a large part of my youth. These are fair weather cumulus clouds with the sun retreating toward the west in early summer. Its garish display nearly over.
